After his sophomore year at Taylor University, Ben transferred to Mount Vernon Nazarene University where he graduated in 2010. He has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in History. In his free time, Ben enjoys drawing, coffee, world travel, spending time with his family, and taking his dog to the dog park. He met his wife, Amber, in 2006. After getting engaged in Rothenburg, Germany in 2009 they were married in 2010. Ben traveled Europe for one month after spending six months studying in Ireland, where he learned about religion, culture, and history. He is honored to help others contribute to higher education due to his appreciation for his own college experience and the way it has shaped his life.

Katelyn graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences and a minor in General Business. Her concentration was Interior Decorating. Katelyn has always loved arts and crafts, whether drawing, painting, or sewing. She also enjoys reading, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and being outside. She and her husband have been Sunday school teachers for three year olds at their church since 2009. During her time as a student at MVNU Katelyn says she not only grew academically, but also personally and spiritually. She is excited to be involved in helping others receive a similar experience at MVNU.

Lisa received her Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University in 2010, where she majored in Social Work and minored in Spanish. In June 2010 she earned her Social Work License. She proceeded to obtain her Master's degree in Social Work Administration from The Ohio State University in 2011. While in high school, Lisa was an exchange student in Tunisia and continued to study abroad in Spain while in college. Lisa loves to travel and explore new places. She also enjoys exercising and experimenting with cooking and baking in the kitchen. Lisa is excited to be back in her hometown helping MVNU grow and reach its goals.

Esther graduated in 1978 from Fredericktown High School and attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University. During the winter months she enjoys MVNU men's and women's Cougar basketball, while in the spring and summer she is a baseball fan. Her love for the sport can be found among all levels, whether it is Babe Ruth, high school, MVNU Cougars, or the Cleveland Indians. Esther also likes to read in her free time. She is married with two children and one grandchild, whom she enjoys babysitting. Her daughter and son-in-law both graduated from MVNU, and her son is attending MVNU in the fall of 2011.

Tom's role as director of Alumni Relations includes a variety of tasks to encourage alumni support of the University. He received his Bachelor's degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 1990. Upon graduation Tom attended Nazarene Theological Seminary from 1990-91, and continued to obtain his Master's degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1993. He majored in Christian Education and Sociology. Tom was also an Ordained Deacon for the Church of the Nazarene in 2002 and served as a Youth Pastor from 1986-87. His hobbies include volleyball, tennis, softball, watching movies, and visiting Metropolitan cities. Tom collected Swatch watches, played the trumpet for thirteen years, and loves peanut butter and sweet pickle sandwiches!

Heather graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 1998, where she majored in Business Marketing. She enjoys watching her children's ball games, going for walks, and riding lessons and activities. Heather met her husband while in college, who also went to MVNU. Both of their children attended the Esther Jetter Preschool, which is located on the University campus. Maybe they, too, will become MVNU graduates!
