MVNU splits a pair of matches on second day of tourney

Lady Cougars open season with pair of comeback wins
August 22nd, 2008The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s volleyball team outlasted a pair of determined opponents to post two come-from-behind victories as the NAIA No. 25 Lady Cougars successfully opened the 2008 season at the University of Michigan-Dearborn Earlybird Classic on Friday with wins over Davenport (Mich.)
