After posting one of the most successful seasons in school history on the field in 2008, the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s fastpitch softball team has now been recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association for an outstanding year in the classroom when the Girls Got Game Top 10 Academic Teams were announced recently marking the fourth straight season that the Lady Cougars have made the prestigious listing. The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s fastpitch softball team has added an important recruit to the team’s roster for the 2009 season with the addition of Tiffany Seymour, who has decided to further her education and continue her softball career at MVNU. Full story »
